Concept of Neutrality: Atomic Approach
The concept of not being associated with any particular identity is highly undervalued. The very desire to be unattached to any side of the coin is subjected to questions these days. The era of politics, debates, and argumentative practices has embarked upon us this very nature of taking sides, even if there is no need for involvement in the matter. Let us not be disturbed by the introduction, once again. We are not participating in the pre-heated issue.
Atomic details and human nature As we all know, each atom wants to acquire stability in its vicinity. There's an approach we can take from atomic composition and its default action. It is clear that the Atomic core has a nucleus, which has positive charge and neutral particles. Since we have decided to not take any side, consecutively we will not call positive charge positive.
The analogy to human nature
Like atom has a net charge, humans also exist with a biased dominated opinion on any topic.
Atoms bond with the same type of atom by mutual sharing of dominated charge and neutralizing the net charge, humans also make friends with the same share of people with the same dominated opinions and biases that they possess.
Unstable atoms which don't seem to find their kind of atoms, in need of stability, interact with opposite charges atoms and make a connection, neutralizing their net charge, humans also join different groups when they found no one similar to their thinking.
The understanding of the atom's default action clearly reflects that it always intends to acquire a neutral state. Its net charge is the basic reason for its instability. Certainly, the very nature of matter demonstrates that we are stable when we are neutral. We are just a particular collection of atoms, given that intellect to favor or discard any particular situation we face. but in the end, we desire stability.
Active Neutrality or Passive neutrality
There's obviously a way to feel stable by what atoms do is to share a covalent bond, meaning connecting with people who share the same opinions as yours. This will give you a feeling of being validated and you will feel yourself at home. Atoms that made covalent bonds lack ions to conduct electricity. They have no free electrons. It implies that people who join the herd and live in the same opinions as they already possess have no free flow of thoughts. They are only useful for specific purposes limiting their growth and mindset. I called this stability Passive Neutrality
Then there are atoms which attain stability by ionic bonds, meaning transfering and accepting each other's charge and become neutral. This connection is stonger than covalent and yet firm enough to let loose and make bonds with others' too. These bonds possess free electrons to conduct electricity. And those people who are unstable with their biased opinions, but open to collaborating with different and opposing opinions, I call them ionic personalities as they are attaining stability of thoughts by knowing other's point of view. They don't possess rigidity of thoughts but exercise vulnerability of it. They possess free flow of thoughts extending their dimensions of thoughts and knowledge. This openness to outer world, new customs and communities brought stability of mind and neutrality in character. I called this stablity Active Neutarlity
What's the point then?
You might wonder and ask a question like that, what's the point of doing anything meaningful, if we should not have a stand? Forgive me, but just to make this clear, I am going to discuss charges of atom. As we know, atom at its very core is positively charged and accompained by the elecrons revolving around its nucleus. So, by practicing neutrality, I meant to not choose any particular identity for the heated argument but be open enough to let other's opinion matter in your sight. Withholding your nuclear charge , you can only innovate some solution for the problem you see by letting others involve in the matter, to give you some different perspective at the problem. not by guarding and dominating your very nature on weaks. It is the practice of reaching a solution that does not favour your biased opinion but by favouring ability of opinion to optimize. Exercising such application in real world is a tough job and brought fluctuations of peace along with it. Parties win elections by polarsing the opinion of public and world works this way. But to made inner working more effective and less noisy, one should practice neutrality.
